DLC Management Corp. operates one of the largest open-air retail portfolios in the northeastern United States — millions of square feet, strong market conviction, and the data to back it up. They had the proof points. They needed the visual firepower to match.

We came in as a design partner to support their vision and build visually impactful work that connects portfolio performance to brand authority. That meant turning raw data into compelling narratives, designing a campaign system that hits hard in print and on screen, and making sure every deliverable reinforced the same story.

The flagship campaign — "The Rent Is Next" — spans a data-driven whitepaper, a campaign landing page, executive presentation decks, and a suite of data visualizations built to drive the point home. ICSC Las Vegas 2026 was the first major deployment, with the engagement ongoing.

The data and the proof points were there. Now make it undeniable.

The engagement started with a simple but honest brief from DLC leadership: we know our portfolio outperforms, we know the open-air story is compelling, and we've got the numbers to back it up — we just need it to look like we mean it. That's the kind of brief you say yes to fast.

We started with a content audit and a series of strategy sessions, working through what DLC actually believed versus what their materials said. From there we built the whitepaper architecture, sourced and shaped the data into visual arguments, and designed the campaign landing page and slide decks in parallel. Every piece was built to work alone and reinforce the others — a campaign system, not a pile of one-offs.

Discovery & Brand Audit

Reviewed existing materials, identified messaging gaps, and established the visual and strategic baseline. Defined what "undeniable" actually needed to mean for this audience.

Content Strategy

Built the thought leadership framework — campaign themes, whitepaper outline, key data narratives, and the messaging pillars that would run across every touchpoint.

Design + Data Visualization

Visual language system for the campaign — typography hierarchy, data viz templates, color usage, layout grids. Every chart designed to function as an argument, not decoration.

Production

Whitepaper layout and print-ready export. Campaign landing page (HTML/CSS). Executive slide deck. Data visualization suite. All assets built for reuse across future campaigns.
